Sun Damage

We have a number of treatments that are designed to remove the top layer of sun-damaged skin and allow healthier skin to grow in its place.

The sun can feel great and getting out in the sun can be a welcome relief. But too much sun can be a real problem for your skin. If your sun-worshipping seems to be showing up on your face in the form of sun damage, Aspire Skin + Wellness is here to help.

What Is Sun Damage?

Sun damage can refer to a variety of skin conditions caused by excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays, both UVA and UVB rays. They can include brown spots (called sun spots), actinic keratoses, fine lines, wrinkles and dry, cracked skin.

How Can I Protect Myself Against Sun Damage?

Any time your skin will be directly exposed to the sun, especially skin that has already been sun damaged, you should take steps to protect it. Use SPF 50 sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection and wear a wide brimmed hat. While this can help prevent the condition from getting worse, it will not do much for existing sun damage. For that, you will need sun damage treatment.

These are all non-surgical, relatively painless and effective skin rejuvenation procedures.
